COVID-19 UPDATE

Dear Diamond Bar Pony Baseball Families,


We thank you for your continued patience, understanding, and support during this unique situation we have all found ourselves in. The league is monitoring the COVID-19 outbreak closely, staying up to date and abiding by all CDC and local public health official recommendations to keep our communities safe, and determining the best course of action with the safety of our players, coaches, umpires and families as our top priority. We originally set a June 6 date to resume the season and still plan to resume our season by aligning our start date with the state’s Phase 3 recommendation for sporting events.


While our hope is to resume the season, we also understand that there will be families who choose not to return. If you choose not to resume, you will have the option of receiving a credit towards the Fall 2020 or Spring 2021 spring baseball season. Please fill out the attached survey so the league can determine how many players would like to continue the season with us.


We understand that this is not ideal but the league is not in a position to refund registration fees as these fees have already been used to pay for operational expenses incurred before and after the games were suspended in March. Player Interest: Resuming the Spring 2020 Baseball Season

The attached survey will help us to plan for how many players will or will not continue the season with us. Please complete one form per player by Sunday, May 31, 2020 so we may gather an accurate number of participants.

2020 Spring Registration Fees

The league is offering a $50 credit towards the 2021 Spring Season. We have a record of every registered player from our 2020 spring season and will apply the $50 when you register for the 2021 spring season. If we are fortunate to have a 2020 fall season, you may instead apply the $50 at that time. 


Raffle Tickets

We are excited to announce that we will still collect raffle tickets until Saturday, June 13 and announce the raffle winners Saturday, June 20 via YouTube or Facebook Live. Tickets can be turned in at the Pony fields every Saturday morning from 9-11 am until June 13. If you need to schedule an alternative date and time to turn in the raffle tickets, please email [email protected].


Angels/Dodgers Game Tickets

This event was intended to be a fundraising opportunity for the league. For every $20 ticket we purchased, $8 went back to the league. We were fortunate to negotiate a refund for the $12/ticket paid to the Angels organization and are able to refund this upon request. The $8/ticket was spent to help fund the beginning of the season. While we are not currently able to refund the $8, we can earmark this for next season if you would like a refund.
